RISEN: the Movie

If you haven't seen this movie yet, I highly recommend it. ~ I saw it first as a non-believer and it made a huge impact on me. ~ A captivating and well filmed story of the impact Jesus made on a non-believer, Roman tribune (Joseph Fiennes), tasked with unraveling the mystery of where Jesus went after his crucifixion. ~ This story takes you on a journey of fresh belief as the tribune is led to question his own beliefs under the weight of evidence. ~ As we lead up to Easter this weekend, this movie gives a new perspective of the mystery and miracle of Jesus' resurrection. ~ Breathtakingly beautiful and deeply compelling.
