THE GIFT OF HOPE
Updated: Oct 3, 2019
Lighting 100 Candles of Hope for a family honoring the life of a loved-one passed, I am reminded of how simple acts of kindness make a difference in the grieving process.
A warm smile, a gentle helping hand, just being there. Words may fail but hope remains, flickering gently.
With each candle I light, I remember my own loss (Mother, Father, Brother, Friends, and Grandparents). And, somehow, that empty feeling of loss loses a little of it's heaviness.
There is hope, so deep, and so wide. Who in your life needs a reminder of hope today?
Each experience we have uniquely equips us to help others, if only we will use them.
God wastes nothing! Will you?
