We are naturally inclined to spend our days problem-solving... but could that tendency actually create more problems? ~ While we are easily distracted with faux-distress calls - 'urgents' that win our attention and steal our focus - we tend to side-step the power we actually need to access to solve the problem well! ~ Author, S. Young writes, "Many of the problems that clamor for our attention will resolve themselves. Other matters you must deal with, but God will help you with them. If you make problem-solving secondary to the goal of living close to Jesus, you can find joy in even the most difficult days." ~ Prioritize noticing not the problems, but God's presence: with you always, ready and willing to give you peace in the midst of the trial, and guide you forward, step-by-step. ~ How? ~ Just make the choice to see Jesus ABOVE the problems that arise. He's there anyway, sovereign above it all. Once we adjust our focus, seeing things in their rightful order, we are less swayed by panic and can operate with spirit-filled wisdom. ~ So much better! ~ Psalm 50:15 "And call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify me.” ~
