Dramatic highs and lows can be stressful, but did you know slipping into the dullness of life can be a dangerous drain too? ~ Dullness = a subtle hint that we have slipped into autopilot: sleepwalking through our day and missing the beauty of God in each moment and person. ~ That numbing fear-feeling that nothing will ever change, morphs into 'giving up' and we just can't see the threads of possibility anymore. ~ Yet, they are there... God is weaving together the moments of your life into an intricate tapestry of experiences and growth (even through loss). ~ Question is: are you soft and malleable in His hands, allowing His crafting? Or has the dullness of your day numbed your noticing? ~ That woman you walked past, could have been the one you were meant to minister to today. ~ That call from a friend, which ended to soon, a missed invitation to be honest about your struggle, and receive and give encouragement. ~ The errand you had to run, not just an obligation, but filled with the gift of fresh perspective away from your computer/home/work/social media scrolling. ~ Every micro moment has blessings in it, if we will only open our eyes to see and ask Him to guide our thoughts. ~ Author S. Young writes, "The Creator of the universe will not leave you circling in deeply rutted paths. Instead, He will lead you along fresh trails of adventure, revealing to you things you did not know. Stay in communication with Him. Follow His guiding presence." ~ Won't you let Him refresh and renew you? ~ Isaiah 58:11 "The Lord will guide you continually, and satisfy your soul in drought, and strengthen your bones; you shall be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail." ~
